General Terms & Client Policy
Scope of Application
These General Terms & Client Policies apply to all services provided by Muse Atelier Zurich.
By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to the terms outlined on this page.
Appointments & Bookings
Appointments are offered on a private, pre-booked basis only and are reserved exclusively for each client.
Bookings may be made online, by phone, or in person.
Muse Atelier operates as a private studio and provides services strictly by appointment only.
A reminder will be sent to the provided phone number two (2) days prior to the scheduled appointment.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We kindly ask clients to respect our time and preparation.
Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be charged a late cancellation fee of 80% of the booked service price.
No-shows will be charged up to 100% of the service price.
This policy helps ensure availability for other clients and fair scheduling.
Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings.
Prices & Payments
All prices are quoted in Swiss francs (CHF) and include VAT.
Payment must be made immediately after the service and may be completed in cash or by card.
Invoices can be provided by email or SMS upon request.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
Arrivals more than 10 minutes late may result in a shortened service.
In some cases, the appointment may need to be cancelled.
The full service price may still apply.
This ensures fairness to other scheduled clients.
Health & Safety
Your health and safety are a priority.
Clients are required to inform the studio of:
Nail conditions or infections
Allergies or sensitivities
Recent injuries or medical concerns affecting nails or feet
Muse Atelier Zurich reserves the right to refuse or modify a service if it may compromise nail health or safety.
Nail Health Policy
Muse Atelier Zurich prioritises long-term nail health over appearance.
Services will be performed using techniques and products selected to protect the natural nail.
Requests that may cause damage or compromise nail health may be declined.
This approach ensures safe, comfortable, and sustainable results.
Enhancements & Maintenance
For enhancement services, regular maintenance is recommended.
Muse Atelier Zurich is not responsible for damage caused by:
Improper aftercare
External force or trauma
Services performed by other salons
Aftercare guidance will be provided to support long-lasting results.
Guarantee & Service Quality
In the event of issues related to gel or gel polish quality within seven (7) days of the appointment, repairs will be provided free of charge, provided the issue is reported within this period.
This guarantee does not apply to:
Regular nail polish
Products supplied by the client
Damage caused by external factors, improper aftercare, or normal wear and tear
No refunds are offered.
Hygiene & Safety
Exceptional hygiene and client safety are integral to the philosophy of Muse Atelier Zurich Smilowska.
All tools that come into contact with the skin are professionally disinfected and sterilized using a medical-grade autoclave.
For health and safety reasons, Muse Atelier does not provide services to clients with nail fungus, bacterial infections, or other contagious or potentially harmful nail conditions.
If such a condition is identified during treatment, the stylist reserves the right to discontinue the service immediately. In such cases, consultation with a medical professional or dermatologist is recommended.
By booking an appointment, the client confirms that none of the above conditions are present.
Right to Refuse Service
Muse Atelier Zurich Smilowska reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at its discretion if necessary for safety, hygiene, professional, or behavioral reasons.
Personal Belongings
Muse Atelier Zurich is not responsible for loss or damage of personal items brought into the studio.
Clients are encouraged to keep personal belongings secure during their visit.
Photography & Social Media
Photos or videos may be taken for portfolio or social media purposes only with client consent.
Clients may request not to be photographed at any time.
Behaviour & Respect
Muse Atelier Zurich maintains a calm, respectful environment.
Inappropriate behaviour, disrespect, or aggressive conduct will not be tolerated and may result in service refusal.
Liability
While every service is performed with care and professionalism, Muse Atelier Zurich cannot be held liable for:
Reactions caused by undisclosed medical conditions
Damage resulting from improper aftercare
Results affected by external factors beyond our control
Damage to Property
Any damage caused by the client to studio property will be compensated according to the cost of repair or replacement.
Changes to Terms
Muse Atelier Zurich reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time.
The latest version will always be available on this website.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by Swiss law.
